Below is a typical programme for a new manager or a manager lacking leadership skills:

First session – three hours
Covers personal objectives of employee and gives feedback on Discus 4 Personality Profile, which is a highly time-efficient assessment tool for use in determining employee’s style of working. It is based on the internationally established DISC theory, a proven methodology used to create accurate profiles of people from all kinds of organisations, in all kinds of roles, all over the world.

  • Automatically generates a detailed profile analysis, based on the four key characteristics of behaviour: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance.
  • Provides an understandable and comprehensive report on strengths, potential traits, communication skills, decision making ability, organisation and planning, motivation, management guidelines, sales suitability.
  • Gives a powerful insight into working style and helps client understand how he/she is adapting their behaviour to suit the demands of job role.
  • Gives essential information about behavioural style, enabling client to make the most of strengths.
  • Analyses how client forms relationships, how they act within a team, how much pressure shows up in their profile tension and how motivated they are.

Second session – two hours
Covers effective decision making, overcoming emotional blocks, addressing fears and vulnerability, leaving comfort zone and thinking errors. Goal setting.

Third session – two hours.
Assertiveness skills and developing management/team leadership ability. Communication skills. Brief introduction to coaching – Grow model.

Final session – two hours.
Assessment of learning and creating an action plan for the future.
