The Johari window
The four quadrants of the window represent you in relation to others. The quadrants represent awareness of behaviour, feelings and motivation. Sometimes awareness is shared; sometimes it is not.

Quadrant 1: The open quadrant
refers to behaviour, feelings and motivation known to self and others.
Quadrant 2: The blind quadrant
refers to behaviour, feelings and motivation known to others but, not to self.
Quadrant 3: The hidden quadrant
refers to behaviour, feelings and motivation known to self but not to others.
Quadrant 4: The unknown quadrant:
refers to behaviour, feelings and motivation known neither to self nor to others.
